Environment Engineer - SYN5991

They are currently recruiting for an Environment Engineer. The role involves incident resolution on development, test and reference rigs on Hook campus, including health checks, rebuilds, software and hardware upgrades and relocations. Other activities would include booking and scheduling rig usage, ensuring all Government Furnished Equipment remains traceable and ensuring currency on build standards and patch levels to ensure systems remain representative of those deployed. The essential skills are: ¿ Windows NT, Windows XP, Norton Ghost, UNIX (Solaris). ¿ Ability to interact confidently with project managers and senior technical specialists. ¿ Ability to cope with complexity and pressure of demand from multiple project customers. ¿ Flexible, i.e. prepared to occasionally work evenings and weekends. ¿ Self motivated ¿ Team player ¿ Good communicator ¿ Process orientated individual required. ¿ ITIL foundation knowledge minimum.
