Solutions Architect - Finance & Control and Corporate Functions - SYN6734

  • This is a huge opportunity for an experienced Enterprise-level Solution Architect to join a newly-created team responsible for driving the global architecture and related documentation for multiple high priority business transformation programmes. Key to this role will be providing the blueprints and roadmaps for Finance & Control/Corporate Risk and Governance, and the patterns and standards guiding their deployment. Ideally coming from a major international corporate environment, preferably in the hi-tech, manufacturing or communications industry, you'll be able to demonstrate a bare miniumum of 8-10 years proven information architecture management and enterprise systems experience. In addition to architectural frameworks or methodologies exposure (TOGAF, Zachman, COBIT or similar), you will need to offer extensive domain-specific knowledge within the Finance & Control arena (Corporate Treasury, Payments, Settlement Systems, Reconciliations, Audit & Compliance). Crucially, you will be a thought-leader who is able to work with senior business and IT stakeholders to drive consensus and ensure delivery of fit-for purpose solutions. The role will require substantial travel in the short term (probably 50%) but you'll have a key role in setting the architectural agenda and future direction of a major global business.
