Security Office Analyst - SYN6736

  • We are currently recruiting on behalf of our IT Outsourcing client for a number Security Administrators / Analysts to focus on providing independent control over key operational security processes performed by my client for their customers. The role will be predominantly an administrative and organisational role, focusing initially on one customer. The role would ideally suit somebody coming from a strong administrative background (perhaps a project administration or project coordination background) and previous experience of working with an IT Outsourcer. Experience of networking and firewalls would be advantageous but is not essential as in house training will be provided. The role will involve some of the following: - ¿ Approving privileged, generic, third party and extraordinary access to systems that support the operations of customers IS estate ¿ Providing internal and external customers with an independent control to monitor and review privileged access to key customer applications. ¿ Performs regular operational security reviews to ensure access is appropriate ¿ Monitors security events across the organization and acts as the point of resolution ¿ Authorizes changes relating to the security of customers network infrastructure ¿ Interfaces with the security operations of customers, suppliers and relevant third parties ¿ Provides audit ability of the firewall rule bases and reports to the business
