IT Helpdesk Leader - SYN6738

  • We're currently seeking an experienced Helpdesk Leader to oversee the centralised IT support function for a client with approximately 200 users across 2 main sites. Your function will be primarily to apply standardized methods and procedures to the operation of the Helpdesk facility to deliver a quality service through (1) recording, resolution and reporting of helpdesk calls; (2) supervision of staff performing helpdesk duties to ensure optimum levels of call resolution delivery together with the correct levels of reporting; (3) documentation of helpdesk procedures and liaison with the IT trainer to produce appropriate material that may be used to improve the skill levels and address areas of knowledge improvement; and (4) work collaboratively with the IT Director to put strategic projects together to meet the firm's aspirations and business plan objectives. Please note that you MUST be able to demonstate a thorough knowledge (3-5 years) of supporting the full suite of Microsoft products (primarily MS Outlook/Office, Publisher, Sharepoint). You will also be expected to support a number of bespoke legal and document management solutions as well as making a contribution to the delivery of new and existing systems deployed within the firm.
